Girl's Camp 2010

So girl's camp 2010 was pretty awesome. We had a great theme (thanks 7th years!), good company, good girls, good food, good activities, and GREAT scenery! The best ward in the world, 6th ward, was spread out between a few different units. I wish I could have posted more pictures, but this is all I could find! Thank you to all of you that went out of your way to be kind to other people and make this experience great! The Young Women leaders LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Hello miss Madi and Annie! This picture was taken by the 'flushies' where the camp follies took place. It was pretty hot...luckily they had some water activities.

Here are our beloved 7th years! Amanda and Emily!!! Thanks for all the hard work!

A little group shot of some of the seats (and the people on them). Is it just me or were those seats designed to torture you? I am grateful we had something, but still! Sister Plank suggested a service project of putting backs on those benches....anyone want to do that?

We love Sister Plank, Sister Farris and Lisa!

Sister Gardner has dual citizenship with 3rd and 6th wards! Sister Adams was in our ward for a short time...can't wait until she comes back (she was called to be in the 4th branch for a while)!

Too cute miss Kaelyn and Amanda!

I did get more shots of unit 12 then other units, but that was because I was in that unit sillies!!! Just in case you don't recognize them in their 'Lady' stylings we have Lady Emma, Amanda, Kaelyn, and Ava!

Lady Olivia, Emma, Jane, Amanda, Kaelyn, Ava, and Lia!

I thought Lia, Sarah, and Lisa were just marvelous as YCLs I tell you... JUST MARVELOUS!

This is the view from the river that runs right by the camp (and is the river seen on the first year hike). The river's name......is a mystery to me.

On Wednesday, the bishop and his wife came up to hang with us. We went canoeing and did a ropes course where we had to work together to get everyone over 'the wall' and we did one where there are two platforms and we all have to be on one platform and swing across to the other one without anyone touching the ground (sorry for the lame description but you all know what I'm talking about!). It was a lot of fun! Then we ate and went back to our unit and had a great devotional and played a game that created quit a few belly laughs and ate treats! Our ward is well, not trying to sound biased even though I am, is the GREATEST!

So I didn't get a good picture of L.E.R.T actors, but this is Sarah in DESPERATE need of medical attention (despite the grin)!

So I don't know about the other units but unit 12 had a visitor...called a BAT! Crazy!

Hope all of you had fun at camp!
